The Society for Laser Surgery and Medicine (Singapore) was founded in 1989 by a group of eminent plastic surgeons and dermatologists, who are passionate about the use of lasers to treat various aesthetic and medical conditions. The formed the society to exchange ideas, research into new fields of laser therapy, and to impart their knowledge and skills to younger healthcare professionals who share their enthusiasm for lasers.
